Stopping Smoking Easily

Let me ask you a question...

What value do you put on your life – Ten thousand pounds ? A hundred thousand Dollars ? A million Euros ?
The fact is, the value of your life is immeasurable, both to you, your family, your work / business life.

It is well documented fact that Smoking cuts life expectancy on average by 10 years - note, I say on average. This means that some people who smoke will therefore live a virtually full life expectancy, whilst others will have their life expectancy cut by more than ten years. Lets face it, it’s a lottery as to when ‘your number comes up’ - so are you willing to gamble on how old you will be when your number comes up ?

The thing is, as with all bad habits, we make excuses to maintain the habit, we say things to ourselves such as “we’ve all got to die sometime” or “your just as likely to get killed in a car accident” or “my grandfather lived until he was ninety five and he smoked like a chimney” etc.

The cost to human health world wide is absolutely staggering - and rising dramatically. Every eight seconds, someone in the world dies from tobacco use – that’s around 4 million deaths a year. If the current trend continues, that number will soar to 10 million by 2030, according to the World Health Organisation (WHO), with 70% of those deaths occurring in the third world. Given these figures, over 150 million people will die from tobacco-related diseases over the next 30 years.

The good news is that there are benefits to giving up smoking at any age – The younger the better. So, if you become a non smoker, you will considerably reduce the chances of suffering:-

  • Heart attack
  • Stroke
  • Cancers to the : lungs, larynx (voice box), mouth, neck, oesophagus , bladder, and cervix . The possibility of having other lung disease such as asthma, bronchitis and emphysema will also be reduced.
  • Gum disease
  • Muscle injuries
  • Angina (20 x risk)
  • Neck pain
  • Back pain
  • Abnormal eye movements (Nystagmus)
  • Severe circulatory disease (veins / arteries)
  • Fungal eye infection
  • Duodenal / Stomach ulcer
  • Osteoporosis
  • Cataract (2 x risk) / Subcapsular posterior cataract (3 x risk)
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Colon polyps
  • Peripheral vascular disease
  • Chronic inflamed bowel (Crohn’s disease)
  • Pneumonia
  • Psoriasis (2 x risk)
  • Diabetes
  • Skin wrinkling (2 x risk)
  • Hearing loss
  • Influenza
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Impotence (2 x risk)
  • Tendon injuries
  • Loss of vision (16 x risk)
  • Ligament injuries
  • Tooth loss
  • Tuberculosis

Be also aware of your family's health too – they will also be healthier if you become a non smoker. By not breathing in your harmful ‘second hand’ smoke your partner and / or children will have less chance of developing smoking related illnesses. Your children will also have a lower chance of ear and lung infections and chest colds, and by not smoking, you will reduce the risk of your baby being born prematurely or with a low birth weight. The chance of ‘Cot Death’ [Sudden Infant Death Syndrome] in your newly-born will also be reduced. It is also a well documented fact that statistically the children of parents who smoke are also more likely to smoke.

The good news is however that the sooner you become a non smoker the sooner your body starts to repair the damage you have done to it :-

  • 20 minutes – Blood circulation and pulse return to normal. Circulation improves – especially to the hands and feet.
  • 8 hours – Oxygen level in your blood increases to normal. Chances of heart attack start to fall.
  • 24 hours – Carbon monoxide leaves body. Lungs start to clear out mucus and debris.
  • 48 hours – Nicotine is no longer found in the body. Senses of smell improve.
  • 72 hours – Breathing becomes easier. Energy levels increase.
  • 2 to 12 weeks – Circulation improves throughout the body. Walking and exercise become easier.
  • 3 to 9 months – Breathing problems, coughing, shortness of breath and wheezing improve. Lung efficiency increases by 5-10%.
  • 5 years – Risk of having a heart attack falls to about a half that of a smoker.
  • 10 years – Risk of lung cancer falls to around half that of a smoker. Risk of heart attack falls to about the same as someone who has never smoked.

Now you have read this far I’m assuming you are at least interested in becoming a non smoker. Let me tell you, I have successfully stopped hundreds of people smoking over the years, that’s right, hundreds, and if they can do it, then so can you – and what’s more, I do it in one session !

Now, let me state right here and now that I cant ‘make’ you give up – nobody can. So what I want from you is the positive expectation that you are going to become a non smoker, that’s right, you’re going to become a non smoker ! . It sounds simple doesn’t it- but it’s true. It’s a fact isn’t it, we don’t get what we want in life, we get what we expect, so when you go into this with the expectation you are going to do it, you’re going to be a non smoker, then when we do the session together it will happen, because you are expecting it to happen.

What I will be doing is giving you the conviction that you are a non smoker. Think about it. If you consciously and subconsciously think of your self as a non smoker, then why would you want to smoke, in fact, why would you think about smoking in the first place ?

The work I carry out is totally confidential and I meet my clients at their homes of residence, offices - or hotel if they are travelling. Due to my travel involved I will charge a daily rate to you (currently 1000 Euro per day) plus travel expenses if appropriate.
